Kia ora
As members have been advised, a Terms of Settlement offer has been received from Te Whatu Ora to settle your collective agreement after more than 18 months of bargaining. It is now time for members to collectively decide what happens next - whether to accept the offer or continue to push on with the campaign.
In the words of Rachel Thorn, a delegate from Whangārei Hospital ED and member of the bargaining team:
"Te Whatu Ora have put together a proposed Terms of Settlement offer for members to consider. The bargaining team have decided this offer needs to go out to members to look at and see how they feel about it, as we think we have pushed them as far as we can right now with talking, during our recent discussions. It is now up to you all, as the members, to say what you think and decide what to do next."

Some online meetings will be held during the week of 4 May for members who are unable to attend an in-person meeting. Links for these meetings will be sent next week.
Delegate briefings
Briefings for delegates will be held next Tuesday 28 April. If you are a delegate check your email for details.
Ratification ballot
The ratification ballot will run from 11-15 May. If you have received this email that means your worksite and email address are correctly recorded in our system and you will receive the ratification ballot email. Check with workmates they have received it too. It is very important that every member votes. This is where members decide what happens next.
